OUR FABRICS

At Monhegans, we believe clothing should be as natural as the world that inspires it. Every piece is made from all-natural fabrics—cotton, linen, bamboo, and other breathable fibers that are gentle on your skin and better for the planet.

Natural materials are healthier for your body and the earth. Unlike synthetics such as polyester, which are made from plastic and can sit in landfills for hundreds of years, our fabrics are biodegradable and non-toxic. They move with you, breathe with you, and return to the earth without harm.

ETHICAL PRODUCTION

Each garment is crafted in partnership with a small team of skilled artisans in India. We ensure every maker works in a safe, respectful environment and is paid fair living wages. We do not and will never condone exploitation or child labor—our clothes are made with integrity from start to finish.

SMALL BATCH MAKING

We produce in small batches to avoid overproduction and reduce waste. This keeps our focus on quality craftsmanship and allows each piece to be made with intention. Every drop is limited, making what you wear more meaningful.

SLOW FASHION

We design timeless clothing meant to last. By choosing natural fabrics and ethical production, we create garments that age well, wear beautifully, and never go out of style. Our approach is simple: fewer, better things.
